We will arrive at bayahibe marina. From there, we will set off by catamaran for an approximately 2-hour cruise to the island. Soft drinks and local alcohol will be served for everyone during the cruise. For those willing to have some more fun, there will be a chance to learn the steps of bachata and merengue with a group of local animators. You can sunbathe in the sun either on the deck or on special nets stretched at the front of the catamaran, or hide in the shade and simply admire wonderful views. We will reach the island around lunchtime just to take our first steps towards the tent with amazing scent of Dominican delicacies. Everyone will find something for themselves and you will definitely not stay hungry. Now there comes the time for a feast for the spirit. You can spend the rest of the time on walking around the island and taking photos or bathing in turquoise-blue water which sometimes turns white when foamy waves meet the fine white sand. You can also sit on a sunbed under the shade of palm trees and admire the images and sounds surrounding you.
While taking the cruise and staying on the island you have the possibility of purchasing a professional photo session. Great fun and beautiful photos will be an additional souvenir from Saona.
When it’s time to come back, we will set off by a speedboat towards Bayahibe. However, there is one more attraction waiting for you before we reach the marina … a stop by the natural swimming pool. You will have time for a swim with a drink in one hand or you can look for starfish. Even if you cannot swim, we strongly encourage to take the advantage of this incredible attraction. You can simply take a vest from the boat and enjoy the charms of this place, feeling the solid ground under your feet, but almost losing the land out of your sight 😉 After about 30 minutes, we will reach the marina, from where we will set off on our way back to the hotels.

Narrow canals wind among densely growing mangroves to finally flow into the sea. We will take a short cruise admiring the flora and fauna of this amazing place.

It is large, wide and spacious. After lunch we can take a walk along the beach, swim or sunbathe. Right next to Playa Grande there is Playa Preciosa.
